Reshaping the future of our forests
Impactful seedball making and drone reforestation
Galansiyang spearheaded the government-led project using drones, and planted 18,389 seedballs (16,344) and raw ulayan or Philippine Oak seeds (2,045) in a 4-hectare deforested patch in Mt. Kalatungan Range Natural Park.
The Manubo Tribe, Kalatungan Mandum Tribal Community, from Brgy. Mendis expresses gratitude for this initiative, making reforestation faster and more efficient in the era of Industry 4.0.
This project was a collaboration between DOST Bukidnon, DENR PAMB Bukidnon, LGU Pangantucan powered by Galansiyang and LVNS Forest Project (https://forest.lne.st/en/).
